I have been away for past few weeks on vacation back home. But now I am back and ready to share my wedding excursion and street shopping experiences.
Let me begin by sharing my wedding looks on 4 different days:
Sangeet – Maroon lehenga with jardosi work is custom made by a family friend.
Mehendi – Blue suit from Seasons in Bandra
Wedding – A Paithani shop in Parle East, Mumbai
Reception – Navy blue lehenga from Roop Kala in Santa Cruz, Mumbai
I wore this gorgeous maroon lehenga to my cousin’s Sangeet! It has beautiful work all over the neck and sleeves. It’s quite dressy so I didn’t need any heavy accessorizing. Just wore pearl and gold earrings 🙂
The lehenga is custom made by a family friend in Mumbai
Mehendi ki raat! Didn’t go over board with the mehendi cos I had a cute little nephew to play with. Wore a cobalt blue long straight fit suit feom Seasons in Bandra with rectangular earrings bought from Lokhandwala market
The finale of wedding celebrations with this velevt navy blue-red lehenga paired with plain dark blue crop top! I had worn the same lehenga with heavy and intricate brocade jardosi red blouse for my own wedding reception. I tuned down the heavy with this plain crop top. It gave the lehenga the much needed balance and western touch. The accessories stand out cos of the crop top is plain
Wearing the auspicious red and green with golden border and traditional gold necklaces.
